Doug Sigmon is the lead pastor of Driven Church. Doug and his wife Laurina are both from North Carolina and met while in college at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. They were married shortly after college in 2002 and live in Raleigh with their three children Jeremy, Daniel, and Allie. In 2008 in the back of a Christmas Eve service Doug felt called to preach and plant a church in Raleigh while his family was living in Charlotte, NC. As an engineer the path to Raleigh, full time ministry, and church planting wasn't clear. Feeling unsure of God's timetable, Doug and Laurina prayed that God would make it clear when they were supposed to move from Charlotte to Raleigh to start His church. The very next day in June of 2010, the company Doug was working for announced the closure of its Charlotte facility and moved him along with his job to the triangle. That vision became a reality and Driven Church was birthed April of 2014. At the core of Doug’s conviction is a belief that God loves and wants to save as many as possible. To reflect that call, Driven strives to be a place where people can meet Jesus no matter their background or experiences.
