So on your journey through life whom do you take along?

Throughout July and August we will explore some important traveling companions.

They will join us right from the pages of Scripture and make our journey more meaningful.

Over the past few years we have read a book together each summer. This summer there is not a specific book but for those who want to read, three books will help guide our summer adventure:

She found Good Shepherd and a kind lady with a heart for newcomers — Donna Mae Reishus. They became friends and Cat began to attend regularly. She was baptized for the first time recently with Donna Mae as her sponsor. Today, Cat sings with Festival Singers, is a fixture at 9:30 and calls Good Shepherd God’s answer to her prayers for family.

Is it just a coincidence that she has had a “church contact” three times in the past week? Each family member is distracted, feeling the demands and pressures of work, school, activities, housework, friends. This is a family in desperate need for renewal.
